About this scheme

Grants and interest-free loans for specialist equipment and structural adaptations to help disabled persons remain at home independently. Low-income households (taxable income up to £15,000) receive a non-repayable grant up to £6,000 plus an interest-free loan up to £30,000 (£50,000 in exceptional cases). Higher-income households receive interest-free loans only. Repayment terms of up to 25 years are available.

Eligibility

Must be disabled under Equality Act S7; 5+ years IoM residence; gross household income up to £60,000; homeowner or long-term tenant; tax compliant.

Requires 5+ years Isle of Man residency.
