About this scheme

Primary funding mechanism for IoM residents attending university at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Provides a tuition fee grant of up to £6,750/year (means-tested above £112,000 combined household income), plus a non-repayable maintenance grant of up to £8,640/year. UCM students receive full fees paid with no student contribution. IoM students qualify for UK home fee status (£9,250/year fees).

Eligibility

Ordinarily resident in IoM for 4+ years before course start (or 10 years total with 2 years immediately before); aged 18+; minimum 80 UCAS points for first degree.

Requires 4+ years Isle of Man residency.
